The camera is the easy part. Effective healthcare communication comes from knowing that patients are the point. That’s how you decide what belongs in frame and what doesn’t.
For over 25 years, healthcare companies have trusted TRUE Studios to produce promotional videos, clinical training videos and medical device product photography. The work is about the patients – not the camera. That’s the job. Every time.

How It Works
Understand the Objective
Why is it important to a patient? What’s the take away? Knowing this is fundamental. It makes a difference in whether the message actually lands – or gets ignored. Once that’s established, we know how to proceed.
Execute the Plan
We may record a video at a medical facility or stage a photoshoot at the studio. The work is edited in the studio the way a clinician carefully considers a patient – always focussed on the right outcome. Once the edit holds up on its own, it’s ready for review.
FAQs
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the project – a straightforward medical product photoshoot might wrap up in a few days, while a full training video series can take a few months. Since there’s no handoff chain slowing things down, clients are frequently grateful for the quick turnaround and responses.
Where is TRUE Studios located?
TRUE Studios is based in Lewis Center, Ohio, just outside Columbus. Various healthcare demonstration videos and medical product photos have been shot in the 1,500 sq. ft. studio. It’s a versatile space – designed for wide variety of video and healthcare projects.
Can you shoot on location in a clinical or hospital environment?
Yes. TRUE Studios has shot video and photos in operating rooms, patient rooms, and clinical training environments. We’ve even shot in some veterinarian facilities. It’s important that our gear has a minimal spatial footprint. The key is to be unobtrusive and not interfere with normal activities.
Do you handle concept development and scripting, or just filming?
Both. Every project is different. Some clients have their concept developed and need someone to produce it. Others have a general vision but want help creating visual concepts and scripts. TRUE Studios can manage the entire creative process or simply build on what’s established.
What if…
Meaningful healthcare communications doesn’t just happen. It deserves experience and understanding – of the work, and the people it’s for.
Could it be TRUE?
